Margin profiles define percentage markups that RateNet applies to supplier rates before returning them to clients. The margin is applied transparently — clients see the final price only.

  • Scoped profiles — profiles can be assigned at the client level, and further narrowed by hotel set or destination market group.
  • Priority resolution — when multiple profiles match, the most specific one wins (individual hotel > hotel set > market group > supplier default).
  • Auto-assignment — default profiles can be automatically linked to new clients or hotel sets without manual steps.
  • No client visibility — the margin percentage is never exposed to client users; only the final price is returned.
